BioSok Oil & Fuel Absorber

The BioSok bilge sock is a gasoline, diesel fuel and motor oil absorbent and remediation system for recreational watercraft. Placed in the bilge of your boat, BioSok’s oleophilic (oil attracting) properties immediately begin to absorb the gasoline, diesel fuel and motor oil leaving clean bilge water behind. Once absorbed, the proprietary PRP Powder mixed within the BioSok begins to work with naturally occurring microorganisms to remediate the captured oils, digesting the oil and leaving water and CO2 behind. Given time, BioSok will absorb and remediate more than 30X its weight in gasoline, diesel fuel and motor oil leaving only the fabric shell behind. PRP Powder, the active ingredient in the BioSok, was originally developed by NASA and has been successfully deployed for more than 20 years to naturally remediate spilled crude oil and other hydrocarbons.
