The ways to use sonar sensor transducer

Fix the float position in advance.

Cast the sonar sensor and float into the water.

For kayak fishing

1. Attach the Side-Scan Adapter to the boat hull by using mounting tabs.

2. Break though the hull of a boat. Place the sonar sensor against the hull bottom 1 inch underwater.

For ice fishing

1. You’d better make sure the ice layer surface is smooth then put the transducer on ice layer to detect fish distribution in order to choose a place to drill a hole.

2.No air between sonar sensor and the ice, no air between ice layer and the underwater either. Otherwise, the fishing sonar will not work.

3.Drilling a hole on the ice and putting the sonar sensor in the water.
